    Form/Detail
Simple clean image, balanced by the lack of other details which allow the focus to be entirely on the pokemon. The branch seems to be effective at cutting the image into two nice halves. Though the lower portion of the image does seem a bit extraneous as it adds little value apart from giving a sense of height, it could have been replaced with more scenery or action.

    Color, Texture, and Shading
Colors are good, there is enough variety to keep the image from becoming boring. The fact you added shading is always a good sign. it gives the viewer both a sense of shape as well as placement/time. Noonish perhaps, or just past since all the shading is at the bottom of the pokemon. Texture is the one thing lacking here, everything seems to be made out of the general smooth plastic. Adding more highlights and bumps create more real feeling pokemon and are a great tool to assist in lighting when used properly.

    Pokemon Anatomy
Pokemon seems right in both shape and coloration, nothing too fancy there. You made him look very happy by just slightly changing the official artwork, I find the small grin a bit humorous. Thought a little more original of a pose would have made it even better. The arm on the opposite side could have been placed better, or hidden to make it look like it was wrapped around the tree.

    Environment/Perspective
Straight on perspective and a minimal environment make the picture a little lackluster here. The branch is very nicely done and gives us a sense of location, and the shading suggests the time of day, but beyond that we have little story to work with. Why is he in the tree, or more accurately why does he have that little grin there?

    Creativity/Effort
Not much to say here, Id say you get points for effort over creativity since it is a fairly simple pose and scene.

    Improvements
Textures & Materials would make the image have a better feel, and give more variation between the separate parts.
Give more sense and direction to your scenes to make it more lively and draw the viewer in.
    Change it up with perspective.

    Score
    30/35

Im kinda cutting your grade just short since its a simple pokemon, but id love to see minor improvements to make it pop just a bit.
