Morru's PokéArt #4: Tentacool

A quick painting for a Tentacool. As a child I always thought Tentacool was the creepiest Pokémon. It's not my best, but yeah.
I don't have a scanner anymore so I used this as a reference for the body:

First and foremost, I just gotta say that I love that first picture of yours LOL.

Now for your entry. It's a very lovely piece of work, and I don't really have much to complain about. You don't seem to have an exact light source, which should be up above since this is an underwater picture. I'm not too worried about it, really, because you at least have shading. Lighting can be a tricky bitch sometimes, especially if you're trying to convey that water feel.

Which, by the way, your background is totally WATERFUL. xD Unclean lines and smudges like that are just what paintings need to simulate water. I just wish you would have put that effect on Tentacool a little more. Because Tentacool is a Pokemon that is made up "almost entirely of water," he should totally be kind of harder to see in an underwater picture, cause he's gonna blend in. If you know what I mean?

Also, I think his little tiny itty bitty little forehead crystal thing, I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be a bit bigger than that. XD I think as big as his eyes, but I'm not tripping over it. It's still a wonderful peace, with a totally fitting name, and it's definitely enough to capture Tentacool. Congratsss.
