Hiya, Ghost! I see we have another adorable work, here, so let's get started!

We have a nice composition that makes use of the rule of thirds again. This helps with the emotion communicated by the work a lot--the way the Doduo is nestled in the bottom right corner, looking up into the sky, really communicates a lonely feeling here.

As far as Pokemon anatomy goes, you seem to have the Doduo pretty well down. The only thing I see is that on the one whos head is lying down, the neck doesn't start in the right place. If you look at Doduos, their heads start next to each other. The Doduo's body is facing to the left, so that head that's crossing over should start behidn the other one. Instead, it's further down. Other than that, you seem to have captured the circular feeling of their heads well, which is the biggest part when it comes to these creatures.

Your colors are lovely, and definitely insinuate a cool, calm night. The warmer tones of your Doduo really help bring it out from the background. One thing I want to point out is the lack of blue in your shadows. Since you have so much blue light, the shadows would also all be a shade of dark blue, which means the shadows on the trees and rocks would also be tinted blue. This is why when the sun sets, everything seems orange, even the shadows, and at night we get the perception of a lot of things being a cool blue.

On the subject of shading, I think the biggest thing is a lack of shading on your Doduo. YOu have this lovely shape the tree's shadow, but then no shading at all on the Doduo. This is really jarring for your viewer. The degree of its shadow should match that of the tree's--dark, heavy black, with a cast shadow behind it. I think that lack of shadow is a big oversight.

As far as technique goes, I really like the way you've shaded things. The directional lines on the trees and the background really work to give it the impression that you want, and the color lines on the Doduo also help give it a more round, feathery/furry feel in the absence of shading.

Right now, I'm going to put this at a 35/45, Doduo not captured. You have a beautiful background and a beautiful concept, but the lack of shading on the Doduo really hurts your score. It's especially important to pay attention to the amount of detail you put on the Pokemon you're trying to catch. The improvements I mentioned, however, will bring this right up to where it needs to be. I can't wait to see what you do with it--it'll be so gorgeous once you get the shading on the Doduo and the colors fixed up!

This is the edited version being resubmitted to attempt a Capture still of Doduo.
I've added the shading to doduo and attempted to add a blue tinge to te tree, rocks, grass patches and even doduo.

Heya, thanks so much for these changes!

So I love the tinge of blue you added, it really helps bring the shadows together to harmonize with the work. The only thing I think left to do to pass this one is to actually put shading on the subject you're trying to catch, and not just beneath it. I briefly mentioned it by mentioning "shading on the Doduo" but then I mentioned cast shadows after that, so that was vague on my end, my apologies!

Doduo is a ball-shaped Pokemon, so its actual body should have shading on its bottom sides similar to the way you'd shade a sphere, except this time, it'd be a furry sphere! His raised heads/necks should also be casting some kind of shadow. Normally, I wouldn't nitpick, but since it's on the subject of your drawing and the thing you're trying to capture, going to request that you do that before I pass it. 40/45, almost there!

Sorry for the delay! This looks fine for a medium. You did well with indicating the shadows of the head, so I feel comfortable with passing this now. 45/45, Doduo captured!
