    Here I painted the Gastrodon in GIMP 2.0 using a mouse (and a great deal of patience on my part). Spent about an hour or two sketching and coloring it. Used Sugimori art as reference. The background is just various water textures I found online, though I did paint some of the streaks myself (mostly the ones near the Gastrodon's feet). The seagrass is actually just a couple of flame brushes I tweaked a bit. Signature is the double M on the bottom left hand corner. This was initially supposed to depict Gastrodon using Muddy Water to cause a tidal storm of sorts, but the idea of making it look like it was in an aquarium tank came to me and I thought that'd be funnier.

    To be clear, I'm going for Shellos, which is Simple Ranked, requiring 1 piece scoring 40 or greater.

    I can almost hear it saying:

    Unleash me
    Unleash me from this prison
    Puny mortal
    I will be out for your blood

    @Morru Magnum;
    Shellos - Simple
    Overall
    This is a cool picture with a cool thought process in making it. It's very funny to imagine.

    Dynamics
    I like the textures you've used in creating the water and the brushes used in the plants in the bottom of the tank. It looks very well done. I would to have liked some items or something in the background just to break up some of the simplicity of the water and grass. Even like a random fish/Pokemon in the background would be fine. Although I like the brushes it looks like you just put the same couple of brushes in different spots at different opacities. I would have liked to see a bit more diversity in that sense. Maybe by changing/ using a more diverse set of brushes it would have looked better.

    Colours/Shading
    The colours look good to me. The seagrass looks about the right colour, and the water looks good too. The shading looks fine on Gastrodon, but its not very well defined, maybe the water is cloudy.

    Pokemon Accuracy
    Gastrodon looks pretty fine in this, no complaints.

    Score
    In the end this is a pretty good piece, but it does have some little faults. I'd have to give you a 45 on this though, as the good outweighs the bad. Have fun with your little sea slug!
